Blessed Redeemer Lutheran Preschool began September 1995. Originally the preschool began with one classroom, and one session. Our mission is to provide an environment of Christian love in which preschool aged children may experience the love and forgiveness of Christ, be taught basic skills and knowledge in preparation for Kindergarten and have the opportunity to grow socially and emotionally by applying the truths of the Christian faith, following the doctrines of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
- Since opening in 1995, Blessed Redeemer has shared Jesus’ love with more than 800 preschoolers.
- Currently we are able to share God’s word with 80 children, with 98.75% (79 preschoolers) enrolled.
- Our facility offers five classes with a maximum of 16 children per class.
- We have seven staff members in the mission field , extending the ministry of the Word with preschoolers and their families.
- Our families come from Sioux Falls, Garretson, Brandon, Valley Springs, Corson, Rowena, Renner and surrounding areas
- Our children spend 60 or 90 days in the classroom, for 2.5 hours per class session.
- The original furniture has spent an estimated 10,725 hours with preschoolers
Since 1995 we have been blessed with the responsibility of teaching basic skills and Christian teachings to many of the children in this community. So to the dedicated staff and the support of the church and her congregation, and the parents of our community, and especially to the children, we would like to say Thank You and God Bless!
