Worship Assistance

Worship is an important time for our church family to gather together in God's Word and Sacraments. Our worship services rely on faithful volunteers who help make each service run smoothly and provide a welcoming worship experience for everyone.

We invite you to prayerfully consider serving in worship by assisting as an acolyte or helping with sound. Your willingness to serve is a blessing to our congregation and an important part of our ministry together.

Acolytes play an important role in our worship services by assisting with several duties throughout the service. Their responsibilities include lighting the altar candles before worship begins, helping collect the offering during the service, and extinguishing the candles after the service has concluded.

The sound volunteer helps ensure that our worship services run smoothly both in person and online. Responsibilities include setting up and monitoring the sound system before and during the service, making sure the livestream is running properly for those joining us remotely and advancing the screens and presentation slides throughout worship.
